Google Unveals its Driverless Car

  Riding in a vehicle that drives itself, This is Google's goal and now a seaminly coming reality. It has no gas pedal, no brake and no steering wheel.

Google has been demonstrating its driver-less technology for years ,some thought a pipe dream. With cameras and sensors and years of research now, they have unveiled the prototype which looks slightly like a high tech golf cart

"They won't have a steering wheel, accelerator pedal, or brake pedal ... because they don't need them," Google said Tuesday in a blog post introducing the unnamed electric vehicles. "Our software and sensors do all the work."

 these cars won't have human drivers monitoring them at all times. Google said the cars can detect objects up to 200 yards away in all directions and adjust their speed, turns and braking accordingly. with speeds limited to 25 mph for testing its exciting to see what the worlds in for i love driving and all for one love the control and abuse of power from an engine. but for the daily commute its interesting to see.  ---

Mustang Burnout Fail + Mclaren P1

            So ive been gone awhile but today im posting on this blog again sorry for the delay. So far a few things this week worth mentioning is there is a burn out fail video of a mustang grenading a clutch, definitely worth the watch and Top Gear UK has released their test drive of the Mclaren P1 which is a brilliant test of hybrid technology  with a twin turbo v8 750HP and a electric motor producing 150 HP which is a astounding 900 hp of pounding acceleration and wins a place back in your heart as the poster on your wall bedroom.
         Mclaren which produces about 1500 cars a year with 1000 employees for their road car division has in my opinion struck a gold mine in the mindset of the performance enthusiast and car guy alike. Many people don't see the use of electric motors as ideal or even belonging in cars but electric motors  produce torque instantaneously and hold it until the power is used up as many have seen the exciting performance of Tesla electric sports car.  having a electric motor provide acceleration everywhere a gasoline engine downfalls you get speed and power that was only achievable in dreams. watching top gear's Jeremy Clarkson test the p1 shows the potential of the super car and performance market future. its exciting that this is what were on the brink of. That is all i can really say. You should check these out and just see the car world for what it is full of change for the better. i am all for thundering engines and so on but this is inevitably the future . with there credit card you get 10% of your purchase back in points and every 1000 points is a dollar for those who dont know with constant watch you can get your self some good deals.
Now for the mechanic or just car or truck or motor vehicle enthusiast there is no extreme couponing from what ive seen but look at your products your buying how much do you use them and can you afford the bulk option
For me i purchase quite a bit of oil and parts for my customers so the O'rielly Auto Parts first call and Autozone rewards is a great way to kick a little money back for shop supplies that i use on the daily. The point is there is a way to get back money on the stuff you buy

2015 SUBARU WRX STI

Subaru announced a new 268-horsepower 2.0-liter direct-injection turbo BOXER engine for the 2015 WRX.  The vehicle features a large grille, classic WRX hood scoop with a very sinister-looking front fascia. some would say this is a visual hybrid of the lancer Evo 10 and wrx STI together but there are very noticeable parts striking to the Subaru itself.
The first WRX STI debuted in 1994 with a 250-horsepower, said Tom Doll, Subaru president and chief operating officer and evolved over the years into, "basically a race car for the street."
The STI made its North American debut in 2004 and spawned fan sites across the world, beloved for its all-wheel drive, Subaru Boxter engine and wide-body stance. Among other many just love the exhaust tone
Subaru made the note at the 2014 north american auto show in detroit that subaru drivers can expect a upscale in the handling of the sti just anounced not to much more info on the car more to come as it unveils .
In my official opinion its a great new body strikes presence and beauty in its current form im excited to see it come about and its performance. Although Subaru announced that only 1000 will be made in its sti package im sure the aftermarket will be a jump on this one upon its release in April

2014 Whats to come

Hi everyone this is going to be a weekly updated blog for the most part im going to be featuring more videos of a different nature and possibly a different channel but im not sure i love the automotive side of what i do but my passion as a mechanic is so much more i love the garage so much lol. i love spending time with my family as well though.
   I really want to show my side of the tools and guide others to not making the mistakes i did
so as far as the main portion of this blog i want it to be light hearted with gift ideass and tool sales and reviews , cool things for the garage, project updates and others its going to be different and hopefully fun .
The first thing is i would like to let the people of the net now know sears is a big seller of craftsman tools. (thats obvious i know) but they are having end of the holiday sales now and starter sets and power tools are on a pretty good deal. THIS BEING SAID CRAFTSMAN CLUB DEAL DAYS ARE COMING 1.5.14-1.11.14 so expect some pretty good deals will be there soon
